Inspired by dry chutney powders that originate across the Southern belt of India, we bring you our collective of Podis that is unique and representative of everything CC! This box contains 3 podis -
Chicken 65 Podi - A super fun take on the street favourite inspired by the ‘touchings’ of Chennai. Add it your masala omelette, sprinkle on eggs, papad, chips, peanuts or add a spoon full into your stir frys.
Pork Bafat Podi - Our Pork Bafat Podi is inspired by Chef Velton's Mangalorean roots. The one dish that chef’s mom aka Mama Saldanha makes, that he can’t get enough of is Pork Bafat - a spicy flavourful pork curry that every Mangalorean household has their own recipe for. Bacon and Bafat spice mix come together in this jar of love, nostalgia and all things yum! Give bacon & eggs a new meaning, mix with sesame oil and smear on dosa, sprinkle over fried rice.
Prawn Podi - An extension of our love for this crustacean, our prawn podi comes from the ingenious ways dry prawns are used in coastal regions. Sprinkle over fried prawns or fish, hot rice and enjoy with your daily meals!
